Well Carter began running a fever Monday evening and woke up Tuesday with blisters all in his mouth and then the blisters began spreading to his legs. So after a trip to the doctor's office it was concluded that he has the dreaded "hand, foot and mouth virus." What does that mean for him?- blisters all in his mouth and all over his legs with much misery to follow for at least 5 days- he is pitiful!! It is so sad! And it is football season- just wanted to mention that!!
I can't stand for either of my kids to be sick or hurt, I would much rather it be me, especially when they can't talk to tell you exactly what is bothering them. So this is hard for Mom!!
As I sit and watch another episode of Blues Clues I think I am in much need of a night out- I would just settle for a trip to the gas station- but it is Football season (did you catch that earlier??) so that won't happen until November.
So please pray for my little boy that he gets quick fast and he gets some relief from this crazy virus and that Chloe is not next on the list.

Moved
Well we are finally moved and I don't know if you would call this settled in, but at least we are here. The garage is still full of boxes and junk. I am determined to get ths cleaned out before football comes around which by the way starts this Saturday. Joy Joy! The kids love their new yard and have been spending lots of time outside.
We have been busy with all the summer things that kids love to do- Dollywood, Splash Country, Fun Fest, free movies, playing outside, etc.. We also went to Doe River Gorge Saturday and had a GREAT time. It was a wonderful place- Chloe had so much fun.
I am having a hard time though not having a summer vacation this year. I can hear the beach calling for me to come and sit and soak up the sun, but instead all I am hearing is Carter screaming about something and Chloe dragging him around. I am in desperate need of a vacation. Oh well- maybe next year.
I'll try to get pictures when I find my camera cords.

Homeless
We are finally officially moved out of our home. We moved everything into the basement and garage of our new home. I am amazed that two people can have soooo much stuff. Where did all this come from?? Thanks to some wonderful friends and family we finally got everything done.
Thank you to Cyrena and Brandy for cleaning- they cleaned and cleaned- and turned the wall green (oh I didn't meant to let that slip!!) Thank you girls- you are my "grace notes!"
We are now living at some friends home while they are on vacation. We actually are at the neighbors house until today and then onto somewhere else. Thank you to my most wonderful friends for letting us stay in your homes while you all are out of town. Your generosity is appreciated more than you will ever know!!
Poor Chloe is so confused- she said last night she just wnated to be in our new house. Me too!! So we will continue to be homeless until Friday. Pray for our sanity and that the time will go by quickly. Have a great week.
Happy 61st Birthday to my mother-in-law today. She is a very special woman who loves her family more than anything! We love you Sue.
